wow...or woah

when is something really a wow or a woah?
how the hell would yah know? and what would the difference be?
would it matter, whether something is a wow... or a woah.
i mean take movies for example. hrmmm... lets say "Van Helsing" (sorry if you havent watched yet, dont worry i wont ruin much of the story...) and this movie i just recently watched "TROY". for me i say that they both are excellent movies. both have excellent casts, great stories, etc.. but what sets them apart? (no it arent the nude scenes.. all though maybe it could be.. hehe) what makes one better than the other?
heres where wow and woah come in... you see in Van Helsing it has all these fantastic effects of the creatures of the night and the rest of the monsters it showed like Mr. Hyde or Frankenstein. and then you have Hugh Jackman with his automatic crossbow and then when he transforms into the werewolf and fights Dracula. it was all amazingly done but somehow that was all it was... like it was just some flashy light show all though i have to admit the twist with the lady was pretty cool... but when i left the theatre i felt the same way as i went in. like... so what now? kate beckinsale is such a babe? yes but thats besides the point. because the point is, there was no point. no message that we could benefit from. thats why i say that Van Helsing is just a wow movie.
on the other hand we have TROY. now TROY was one hell of a movie. nicely done even if the story of the movie wasnt really exactly as it was written in the Illiad but still i have to tag it as woah movie. well simply because the movie inspired. it wants to push you pass your limitations so that you can be great. to be so great you will never be forgotten. because truth be told its better to be dead then forgotten. because once you are forgotten, then you are truly dead. it wants us all to leave our mark, make our stance, to be who we thought we could only dream to become.
and dont listen to those people who say that you dont have to die to contribute! thats a crock of shit!! you have to die! be it literally or figuratively. thats how to achieve! die to yourself. lose ureself from ureself. meaning be selfless and not selfish. dying to oneself entails sacrifice pain and all that. every great man suffered and sacrificed to be the man remembered today. the only way to be remembered is to leave the biggest impact you can ever hand society, or even the world!!! and that is to die... to die for a cause. a cause you believed in was so great that you have made the decision to die for it.
that way people who said they lived in this mans time or in this womans time will say and say it with pride, that they lived during your time. and thats what achilles said when he told his myrmidons that immortality is there, take it. and as achilles and all the rest of every man and woman who took their immortality, so too must we. so that we may exist forever.
wow and woah... it should matter... if you want to be anything
